Science Vs Nature's first release, ALIVE EXPERIENCE was meant to be a play on words . . . as each song on the album was recorded live, just as though a rock band was performing in a recording studio, hence . . . a live experience. Interestingly enough, no computers were used to perform this album, with all sequencing being done via two Akai MPC3000s, two full racks of gear, and five Yamaha 01Vs.

To this day, it has remained a staple in Expedition Recordings' income, and seems to be standing the test of time in a very fickle, electronic music world. "Welcome Me Home", "Dance Like You F**k," and "Spy Theme" seem to be the big hits.

At the time of recording, Analia Lyon was a third member of SVN, providing vocalist support at all live shows, and giving SVN that vocal touch in a very instrumental, electronic world.
