was adopted by a German couple living in Lisbon. At a young age, the family moved to the US, settling outside of Detroit where he was first exposed to house music. During high school the family moved to Berlin, where Dedrich got deep into the post-punk underground. His interest in music soon evolved into producing and DJ'ing. He disappeared for days and weeks at a time, visiting and performing in obscure underground clubs in Budapest, Rotterdam, and Madrid, as well as full-moon drug-fueled beach parties in Thailand.



After years of relentless partying, Dedrich walked out of his own life and did not return. Without the use of any mechanical transportation, he made his way to the Pak Ou Caves in Laos and spent a year meditating under the guidance of a monk. During this time he had an intense vision into the future of mankind: where all of the karma of all of humanity of all time will converge to create simultaneous salvation and destruction.



Dedrich later returned to music in order to re-integrate with society. During this time Dedrich came to know the artists Science Vs Nature (topics on which he had previously meditated), which led him to Kiley Thompson and Expedition Recordings.
