Not sure where to begin with this producer.

 

He's magical, mystical, introverted, detached, and a friggin' sponge to the world. We can barely keep up with how his brain explodes in the studio. We're not even all that sure how he holds it together. But he does, and we love him for it.

 

So much so, that he is the first and only artist/producer to ever receive an advance from Expedition Recordings. Granted, Daniel had just been shunned from his past due to his exploration of the future. He needed some help. But what we are getting in return is ten-fold.

 

Daniel Stoltz is a sound designer of the infinite degree. He has no music training, no computer background, and barely understands "English", as his life was brought up speaking Amish Dutch. We found him in Brooklyn at a Richie Hawtin concert "studying" sounds. He questions to the root of everything, and you hear it in his music.

 

Shortly after meeting him, Expedition Recordings was asked to provide sound design and music services for an extended movie trailer. Daniel Stoltz immediately came to mind. Within 24 hours, he was done, and with 30 hours, it was accepted, mastered, and sent to festivals.

 

So . . . expect a soundtrack, remixes, and an album . . .

within the year.
