After hearing the sounds of Carl Craig and Jeff Mills, Dink felt inspired to start producing his own sounds at the birth of modern day computer based production. His first round of shows took on the name Yellow Jacket playing Hard Techno digging from the sounds of artists such as Ben Sims and Marco Bailey. It wasn’t until the move to San Diego, CA where he began producing music under the name Dink In 2010. With the recent chance came the first Tech House release through Open Legs with a groovy Techno inspired house tune name “Lazy Eye”. In 2011, he was approached by another Spain based music label named Music Mates to launch his second EP "Hell House" via Beatport. "Hell House" featured three originals titled "Backroom Groove," "Cock Blocker," and "This House." Within the same year, Music Mates released his third EP called "Put a Synth On It" which can be found on iTunes. This was the first EP that Dink featured two remixes of Mimz original tracks, "Senza Titolo" and "Alegria." By June 2011, Dink had returned to the city of Detroit and about one month after his return, a project he had completed while still living in San Diego titled "We Are Warriors" attracted the well-established Detroit entertainment company, NightSneak. His debut NightSneak performance was at "Haters Make Us Famous," which featured Jonathon Davis of Korn, Bart B Moore, Justin Martin, Lazy Rich, and DJ Craze. Every weekend brings on new skills and with that Dink continues to strive to find new ways to improve his sounds and styles through live performance.
